Round 5 kicks off tomorrow night with our Senior Women under lights 🤩 It will continue into Saturday with our U18.5 Boys heading down to Altona on the back of an impressive win last Saturday. Our U18.5 Girls will look to keep up their winning streak as they take on an undefeated Aberfeldie. At home, our Reserves Men, Senior Men and Thirds will be playing throughout the day, as our sold out Ladies Day event is happening inside! Round 2 results are in! What a night for our Laker girls last Friday! Our Div 1s hussled in a very close game and came away with a 1 point win over last year's reigning premiers and ended their winning streak since coming into the competition last season! Our Div 2s had a strong team performance with our goalers dominating the circle and defenders making a massive contribution to the score line taking home the win. Our div 3s also had a killer performance with our leading goal scorer shooting at 95% accuracy. Our div 5s and 6s unfortunately couldn't get across the line last night but competed well against 2 strong outfits. Onto next week for another big week! Go Lakers!!

Expressions of interest are now open for our Senior Pathway Program. Our pathway program plays in the Tuesday Premier League Competition at the State Netball Centre in Parkville. The weekend will see our full complement of senior teams on the track for the first in 2025 🎉 Our U18.5 Girls and Reserves Women will feature on home soil, as they come up against Maribyrnong Park and Essendon Doutta Stars respectively. Our Thirds will travel to Bacchus Marsh tomorrow night while our Senior Women will head to Skinner Reserve to take on West Footscray on Saturday. Our U18.5 Boys will once again be up early for their 8:30am match against Point Cook Centrals, while our Senior and Reserves Men will be down at Werribee on Saturday afternoon. Our annual ANZAC Spirit Match acts as a reminder of our fortune to live in this country, and the values in mateship and courage passed down to us by those who fought. After lots of hard work during the pre-season, we’re so excited to have our juniors back playing footy and ready to tackle the challenges that lie ahead. We have six home games on Sunday, with five at Town Centre Reserve and one at Brookside Recreation Reserve.
