CSFC are excited to present our School Holiday Speed & Skills Academy presented by Caitlin Mondello from Team 639, alongside our senior footballers. Coach Caitlin Team 639 is an athlete-only performance facility working with athletes across a wide range of sports and levels. Caitlin specialises in running technique and movement skill development, particularly for team sport athletes. Open to anyone aged 10-16 years old, the session will focus on: - Running Technique (Acceleration + Top Speed) - Breaking down key mechanics of acceleration and max velocity - Teaching athletes how to apply force effectively and run more efficiently - Translating technique directly into on-field performance - Change of Direction (COD) Mechanics - Developing efficient movement patterns for cutting, turning, and reacting - Introducing key “shapes” and positions for safer, sharper direction changes - Emphasis on reducing injury risk (particularly ACL) - Fundamental football skills Program Details: Friday 17th April 10am to 12pm Lunch provided 2 groups: 10-12yo and 13-16yo SPOTS ARE STRICTLY LIMITED! The final round of senior practices matches is on tomorrow at the home of the Lakers! The U18.5 Boys will kick off the morning at 10am in an intra-club match before the Reserves and Senior Men take on Tullamarine in their last hit out before the season commences. The barbecue will be up and running with egg and bacons for the morning and burgers and snags for the afternoon. Looking forward to seeing you all at home tomorrow!

Great to have a couple more boys locked in for our U18’s program! Aiden Smith led the U16 boys as co-captain last year and makes the move up to the 18’s. His hard working, team first mentality will make him a great addition to the squad. Having joined the Lakers in 2024, Lincoln Jenkins also returns for another year. Since day one, Lincoln has been a valuable contributor and slot straight into the U16’s Div 1 side. He’s a skilful, passionate and driven player who leaves it all out on the park every week. Harvey Snooks (aka Big Stix) is another returning player who has played over 100 games for CSFC. We’re proud to present our senior leaders for 2026! It’s a new look leadership group for our boys with our very first pair of co-captains in Cooper Pepi and Max Tessari. The experienced pair are joined by several new faces, with Ben Caluzzi serving as Vice Captain and Tate Wood, Steven Kyriazis, Zen Christofi and Ali Bryant completing the group. Whilst there are a number of new faces also for the girls, they’ll once again be led by 2x premiership captain, Caitlin Pretty. Our U18.5 Boys will kick off the season tomorrow morning against Eltham at 9:45am, with their match set to be played at La Trobe University. Meanwhile, our Senior Men will be making the journey up to Longwood for their match against Rupertswood, in what will be a combined six quarter game for our reserves and seniors.
