Position: Vice President
How long have you been involved with CSFC?5 years Goals you hope to achieve for 2019 at CSFC?
To build on from the great work of the previous Executive Committee, adding my small part to make the Lakers the most successful club in the Western region, both on and off the field. Favourite AFL team and player?
I am a passionate Essendon member and when I’m not at Lakers games, I’m following my beloved Don’s. #Premiers2019 Tea or Coffee?
I drink both, but I’m probably more likely to kill you over a coffee before a cup of tea! Do you have a secret talent?
I do have – a love of cooking up a feast! What job would you be terrible at?
Anything above 3 meters. I am petrified of heights. What skill would you like to master?
I would love to be able to play the guitar, unfortunately I have no musical talent.

Position: Junior Coordinator

Goals you hope to achieve for 2019? A smooth transition and implementation of changes to junior team structures.

Mel has a very important and busy position at CSFC, she oversees all teams from Under 9’s through to Under 18’s. Mel mentor’s new and existing team managers and assists with their development alongside our Coaching Coordinator plus a lot more behind the scenes work to make sure our junior teams are able to play on the weekends.
Mel was also the deserving recipient of the Ellis/White Trophy for Club Person of the Year 2018.

Position: Junior Coaching Coordinator
How long have you been involved with CSFC?5 years
Goals you hope to achieve for 2019? That all coaches provide an experience where kids have fun with their mates, learn new skills and develop a strong passion for playing Aussie Rules Football.

You may have seen Sam out and about this week with the start of our Junior training!
Sam has a very busy role that starts way before our football preseason even starts, you could probably say that his role never ends. Interviewing and appointing coaches, organising training schedules and this year working in our training times with the Cricket Club, which we are very thankful for.Sam mentors our new and existing coaches and assists with their development, he also ensures all coaches are following the appropriate guidelines.
